Miss Mae Carden understood children and how they learn.
So many teaching methods are centered around subject matter and what students should know. In our rapidly advancing world, the idea of what students should know is constantly changing. While developing her curriculum, Miss Carden turned her focus toward studying children and how they learn. She created her curriculum based on the emotional maturity of the child so that the way the curriculum is sequenced relates to what a child is ready to learn and what they can apply to their daily lives. In this way, the Carden Curriculum is truly timeless.
